These tunes/links will be a part of the permanent (or semi-permanent) repertoire of the World Music Ensemble. This means we’ll continue to use these particular tunes every semester. By slowly adding to the base rep and passing it on from term to term, we’ll always have sets of tunes ready to perform. It also allows the arrangements of the base rep to evolve with the group. Members who continue in the ensemble from previous terms will be able to pass the tunes on and act as good performance foundation while newer members learn the tunes. These also give us extra arrangements to finesse on evenings when we’re not learning another new semester tune.
The list will evolve and change over time. The following tunes are only from the first two semesters and we’ll add more as we can.
